I love being able to paint near my home. This painting was done about 10 miles my home...such a typical scene in my part of the world, yet sitting out by a quiet country road and hear the birds and insects along with the water flowing through the ditch made a perfect kind of a day! I love watching the sun travel across the land on a cloudy day like this day was! I will never tire of trying to capture the beautiful effects of light as it shines down through the clouds.
