This was painted at the Wawasee Plein Air Paint-Out in 2008. Unfortunately it was raining during much of the time I was painting. The pleasent part was that I was able to find cover on one of the back steps of main house. The sun did peak out from time to time before I finished painting the piece, so I was able to capture some light and shadows to help add to the composition.
