I pasted this weathered looking fence with these colorful lillies on my home one night after painting up in Michigan with my plein air group. Even though I was hot and tired, I regained my energy just by painting, because I was so taken by the scene. The owner of the property came out and told me that he had actually made the fence to look that way, to match other fence that was on the property when he purchased his home. (I was impressed!)
