This was painted near Stevensville, MI, in a little park right by Lake Michigan. I had eaten lunch near this group of trees with my daughter just a few days before I began painting this painting. While we ate, I was really drawn to the way the light was shinning through this small line of trees, so I knew I wanted to paint them when my plein air group met there! I began this on site and finished it from memory at my studio. The price includes a custom made, 3 1/2" craftsman style, quarter sawn oak frame, that was made in the USA.
