I was looking for a good vantage point of a covered bridge in Southern Michigan one afternoon, when I drove by one of the most enchanting gardens I have ever seen. I just had to stop and ask the owner, if I could paint her garden. Mary Lou turned out to be an artistic soul also, who I really enjoyed chatting with throughout the course of the afternoon while I attempted to capture a bit of the beauty of her garden. I am afraid my painting doesn't it quite do it justice however!
