Last night I attended the preview party for Art 4 Sale at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art.  It is great place to see tons of work all in one place!  (Ten of my paintings are on exhibit in the first large room.  Several of my artist friends also had work in the exhibit.)  It was great to see so many people interacting with art and the artists also!  As an artist who is often asked to contribute art for fund raising events, I really appreciate the fact that this event not only helps an art related organization, but it also gives back to the artists. Artists receive 60% for each sale that we make!  

If you haven't seen the changes and new addition to FWMoA, you won't be disappointed when you visit!  We were given a tour of the new facility last week and my artist friends and I were all very impressed!  Not only is their permanent collection of art impressive, I also found the arrangement and atmosphere of the exhibit areas to be a welcome calm in comparison with the stresses of my life!  Visit the museum's website at: www.fwmoa.org to see what other exciting events are coming up in the future!
